1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
I’m usually pretty good about keeping eye contact, but I’d have to go with telling someone how I feel. It’s hard to get my thoughts together, and keep a straight face, with my eyes locked. Gives me the nerves.
2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
REALLY angry? I’m not too sure. I usually avoid getting angry. I’ve been mad a couple of times, but serious dishonesty can get to me I guess.
3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
Considering I would not have much time, I would immediately call my mom and tell her how much I love her and appreciate everything she has done for me since the day I was born.I could not stress enough how much she has done for me, and I am truly grateful to have such an amazing mom. Honestly, I don’t really want to think about this, and if I were ever really placed in that situation, my mind would just be everywhere.
4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
One of my biggest fears is dying, because I have yet to reach my goals and dreams in life. I never really pay much thought to the possibility of me dying, because it’s one of those things that seem like “Oh, it wouldn’t happen to me.” or “Hopefully it doesn’t happen to me.” but you cannot prevent these instances. I think I would spend a couple of days debating with myself on whether or not I’d want to tell anyone immediately. The last thing I want is to cause others pain and worry, especially to those that are close to me. Overall though, I’d want them to know the truth, but spend my last month with them happy. I would join every family dinner, have many get-togethers, hug and love plenty, and just cherish my last moments with my loved ones. Lastly, I would leave something small like a note to each and every person that means something to me. I wouldn’t just want to disappear. That’s the worst.
5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love and Trust.
With one, there is the other so it’s hard to pick solely one choice. In order to love, or to be loved, there has to be that sense of trust. I cannot love someone without there being trust, and with trusting someone, I have a relationship with them, one way or another that resembles closeness and feeling.
6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
I honestly would, because I cannot imagine living in peace after experiencing something like that. There are other jobs, but there is a living thing suffering that obviously needs help. I would take the chance. There is no doubt in mind.
7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
I guess I would have to go with someone that I love, because pain is inevitable. Not that it always has to be a bad thing, but love isn’t always a good thing, no matter how you look at it. You have to take the good and the bad, and just accept it, but nonetheless, pain is included.
8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
In my current situation, if that were the case, I would have to be straightforward and decline. I’d rather be honest, then lead someone on. In the long run, it is more painful and fucked up. Besides, I really like this boy. I wouldn’t simply switch out of pity. I can’t do anything but make them understand, and help them cope in any way possible.
9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
In a heart beat. I have nothing more to say than that. He deserves his life back, not just one hour.
10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
I like variety, I wouldn’t want someone exactly like me. In general, do I think I am a good friend? I would like to think so, but I’m a little nut. I don’t know. It’s not really for me to judge anyway.
11. Does love = sex?
I see sex as a form of love, but it does not exactly equal love when looking at it from different perspectives and situations. Personally, I would not have sex with anyone I did not have strong feelings for, so for me it means more than just “sex,” even if it doesn’t always mean “love” at first. I don’t really make sense.
12.Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
I honestly don’t know what I would do in this situation. This person has barely been there, and I have worked hard to wherever I would be at that point. My family is also not in the greatest condition, so I can’t exactly risk my own position, but then again I would care and worry for this other person and blah. Don’t put me in such a tight spot. I obviously want to help this person but fuck.
13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
Probably a month ago, but that’s a little on the personal side. I would rather not exploit some serious business like that y’know.
14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
Both are difficult, depending on the circumstance. Confessing your genuine love to someone else for the first time is extremely difficult, especially when you haven’t heard it from them beforehand. It is just hard getting your feelings together and being able to express them successfully, not knowing how the other would react. On the other hand, telling someone you don’t love them back is a big weight in itself. I would not want to hurt the person, but I would not want to lead them on so it is a lose-lose situation unfortunately.
15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
My ability to not give up, strength and perseverance. The one thing that has pulled me through all these years is just that. I fail, and fail, and fail, but that fact that I have not stopped trying has placed me where I am today and I see myself improving. That is more rewarding than all the failures that have amounted till now. I have been through hardships and I have had my share of mistakes, but I stand back up eventually. I value that more than anything really.
16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
I told my mom today. :)
17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
Probably not being so caught up on silly things, but it’s not that big of a deal. I’m happy with my actions and they have put me where I am today. And let me tell you, I am really happy with that.
18.Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?
Probably Thu? That would be weird and funny, but still scary - don’t get me wrong. I just think that would be comforting. (It doesn’t help that you joke about rapists outside my window all the time btw, so yeah I choose you. You’re responsible for my protection.)
19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
Obviously. I wouldn’t dive into something like that though if my memory on CPR wasn’t exactly keen. I wouldn’t want to be the reason for someone’s death, and would get help since that’s all really I can do if that were the case.
21.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
I would save my grandmother, simply because she is my family and I love her. I actually have a relationship with her, as opposed to a newborn baby that I do not know. I would undoubtedly feel guilty about it, but I have no other choice.
22. Are you old fashioned?
With very few things, but I’m pretty modern for the most part. Not gun’ lie, I am hip af.
23. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
I really don’t expect things in return. That’s fucked up, and that would only mean that my actions are not humble and genuine. Anyway, I help people as much as I can, and as much as they allow me to. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint one time, but I just gave advice the other day, I assisted someone with their homework, I give my friends rides home, even when I’m low on gas and have no money, I do favors…. I don’t know man. It’s 2 a.m. I can’t think, but those are some recent ones.
24.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
True love with a guarantee of a broken heart. I want to be able to at least feel love. The absence of love can make one bitter, and when you’re in the moment, there really isn’t anything that can beat that y’know? A broken heart can be healed, but to never love at all? That just plain sucks.
25.If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
I rather not wish for things. What’s meant to come, and meant to happen, will happen on its own. Plain and simple.
you would. i’m already tackling all the questions for you. -_- and you owe me krispy kreme.
